Avis Budget Group took to the keynote stage at AWS re:Invent recently to share how working with the AWS Partner Network (APN) has been catalytic to both its innovation and organizational transformation.
Christopher Cerruto, VP Global Architecture, Analytics & BI, talked about how new technologies have helped the organization compete with aggressive, data-driven competitors as well as equipping it to meet the dramatic shifts in customer preferences.
Cerruto said, the AWS platform has “lifted barriers and paved the way for innovations” that include connected vehicles, a telematics hub and data visualization tools.
WebbMason Analytics was involved in many projects, for example, we built a system to deliver holistic digital ad and inventory data to media buyers.
“By ingesting enormous quantities of data from internal databases and external sources, WebbMason Analytics brought together market intelligence, ad pricing and fleet inventory to empower media buyers to build highly effective ad campaigns,” said Mike Lang, Partner, WebbMason Analytics.
Cerruto said that Avis Budget Group couldn’t have accomplished so much without help from partners for software, implementation and so much more.
“By taking advantage of this partner ecosystem, we’ve been able to hit the ground running immediately and also take advantage of all this great emerging tech that is going on. We’ve been able to move fast,” said Cerruto.
